Gaia Ethnobotanicals Review

These days Kratom has caught on as a popular trend due to its incredible healing properties which, if used correctly, can aid in a lot of problems such as chronic pain, mental stress, and even depression.

Our reviews aim to positively create awareness of the correct use of Kratom, which can only be possible if the user has prior knowledge and accurate information.

We know that people who stumble across our website are in search of quality Kratom and exceptionally pure extracts, so to help them out, we have done our homework beforehand and given an unbiased review of some of the popular vendors out there. Stick to the rest of the post to find out who we will be reviewing this time!

About Gaia Ethno Botanicals

To be honest, we will not be exactly starting this post with an introduction about Gaia ethnobotanicals, as it is evident that one does not need to familiarize themselves with this vendor. Once you start using Kratom,

Gaia will be amongst some of the first names you will come across. This manufacturer is the pioneer of the Nootropics in the industry. The business is owned by Daniel Bower, who has a keen interest in Kratom and makes sure he deals with his customers directly.

What products are popularly sold by this company?

Gaia ethnobotanicals have been selling Kratom in all available forms, including powdered, Kratom capsules, and even as a tea. This Kratom product comes from freshly dried leaves of the Kratom plant in South East Asia. Gaia has been a proud manufacturer of the red, white, green, and yellow strains of Kratom, and some unique blends.

The unique blends are a concoction of three or more blends such as the Ganesh MD, Green Dragon, Red Dragon, Purple 8 in 1, and the White Dragon. They also have some sampler products of different weights, the most famous of which is the Gaia Welcome sampler and the Ouncer sampler.

Gaia Kratom product prices

Gaia Kratom falls in the lower price range category, with the standard strains being sold for $10 for the 1 oz package. The Kratom samplers are an economical choice as they cost $10 for the ouncer sampler, $37.50 for the Gaia Welcome sampler, and the prices increase up to $150 for the 1000g sampler.

The Kratom blends are also available at the same price as the standard strain, which is $10 and was quite a relief for me as I was expecting a bit of a surge in the prices.

So I think it would be accurate if we classify Gaia as one of the vendors selling products at rock bottom prices, also keeping in mind that they do offer a 20% discount on these already low prices if cryptocurrency is used.

Personal experience with Gaia Kratom

Gaia Kratom is a fairly old company as compared to some of the new vendors out there, so I did not have to mainly test it out just for the sake of this review, as I was familiar with this brand and had used it several times in the past few years.

I will be writing down a few of those experiences, which will give readers an idea of what this brand is all about. Since this brand is also low priced, I would not hesitate to review my experiences with some of the special blends and extracts. The products I have personally tried out are:

1. Gold Bali Kratom powder: I tried out Gold Bali after a particularly rough day at work, expecting it to put me into a deep sleep. I was tremendously wrong as it kept me awake for well past my bedtime with the same sort of jitters you get from caffeine overdose. The next day was even rougher for me due to last night’s experiment, after which I decided not to repeat the mistake of having this strain again at night.

 2. Welcome Samplers Pack: this is one of the products I would recommend to anyone starting with this brand. I ordered a few yellows, a few whites, the White Dragon, and the Plantation, and each of these strains was super powerful.

3. Red Bali Kratom powder: The strain which I have used the most is the Red Bali. My admiration for this product can be measured by the fact that I even emailed the owner after trying out this strain and was pleasantly surprised when he emailed me back.

Gaia Ethnobotanicals controversy

Gaia Ethnobotanical Kratom was also on the list of vendors that had contaminated stock of kratom during the Salmonella outbreak.

The recalled products were those that were sold online at the consumer level and were contaminated despite following the FDA’s sterilization guidelines. Gaia did its best to tackle the situation by calling and emailing all its customers and requesting them to discard all of the products sold by them.

Negative Aspects

Last year in October, I ordered a stock from Gaia, which did not give me the required effect. I was a bit puzzled and spent some time searching around on forums such as Reddit and Quora and found a few users who had bought stock in the past two months to be complaining of the same thing.

One even went on to say that he messaged the owner and got a reply from him that ‘it was not the product at fault; it is your body chemistry.’ This retort put me off a bit. I am sure the owner is a great guy, but he should have dealt with the situation in a better manner.

Conclusion

While you are on the quest to find the perfect Kratom, you should keep in mind the characteristics you are looking for.

If you are looking for something in the lower price range, you should keep your expectations a bit low as compared to a luxury item. Gaia Kratom was the right choice according to the money, but the standard strains were no luxury strains either.

I would still recommend Kratom users to familiarize themselves with this vendor as well, as they might find something that would strike their interest as well.
